The Yorkshire, Harrogate

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to the train station and nearby bars and restaurants. The building itself was charming, and breakfast was delightful. On the downside, the room overlooked a construction site, and the noise from bottle bins being emptied in the morning was quite bothersome.

I found the hotel to have spacious rooms, but unfortunately, my room at the back of the hotel was quite noisy due to the nearby air conditioning units. The size of the room was impressive, though.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with clean and modern rooms offering good showers and comfy beds. The Christmas festivities happening nearby added a nice touch to the experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-lit, making it a cozy stay at a reasonable value.

My stay at the hotel was lovely overall. The rooms were very clean, and the bathroom was great with a huge, hot shower and modern amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming. However, the view from my room onto the roof was not ideal, and being overlooked by other rooms meant I couldn't open the curtains. It did get quite hot in the room, though. The hotel's location overlooking the gardens and 'grand' hotel was beautiful.

I didn't realize I booked a room in the older buildings and gardens, which turned out to be tiny. The rooms were scruffy and bland, especially the bathroom. Being located at the back of the hotel above the bars and restaurants made it noisy, especially with early morning bin collections.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were spacious, with a separate lounge and bedroom, nice and light, large, and pleasantly warm, creating a homely atmosphere despite some creaking floorboards. The service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly and professional staff who went above and beyond to assist. The location was superb, offering a fabulous view and close proximity to the town, though the lack of air conditioning in hot weather was a downside. The dining, with a beautiful view of the skyline, offered delicious options, but the buffet style was not exceptional. Overall, a great value for the experience.

I had a wonderful stay at The Yorkshire Hotel in Harrogate. The rooms were lovely, with charming decor, a comfy bed, and great amenities like a TV and WiFi. The staff was incredibly helpful, even providing a bucket of ice upon request. Although the room wasn't serviced during our stay and it lacked a hairdryer, the lovely view made up for it. This will definitely be our go-to place in Harrogate. Well done, The Yorkshire Hotel!

The hotel's location is fabulous, offering easy access to Harrogate town centre and making it ideal for exploring the beautiful town. The rooms, although gorgeous, had issues like poor views, squeaky light fittings, and creaky floorboards. The dining experience featured a poor selection of lukewarm buffet items but redeemed itself with a superb breakfast. The service was friendly, though at times felt rushed. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout positives and drawbacks.

The service was hit or miss, with helpful moments but also dismissiveness noted. The location was excellent, being central and convenient for exploring Harrogate. The facilities were good overall, though improvements could enhance the guest experience.

The hotel is in a great location, easily accessible to everything Harrogate has to offer. The rooms are newly refurbished to a high standard, clean, and tidy, but lacked some essential amenities like coat hangers and hooks. The dining experience can be improved, and the ongoing renovation might affect the ambiance. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service.
